How long do Kinetico tanks last?

A single-tank electric water softener is supposed to last up to 12 years, while a Kinetico water softener can last around 20 years. However, it might need minor repairs from time to time. A major reason for repair is hard water symptoms. If you notice these symptoms taking hold of your system, you may want to repair it promptly.

How often does a Kinetico softener need maintenance and services?

It is highly recommended that you clean up the water softener tank once every year. A regular routine of cleaning will also help maintain the efficiency of the system at its peak. You may need to clean the tank more often if the water contains an excessive amounts of sediments.

What flow rate can a Kinetico Premier Compact support?

MiniMax M3 Softener

The Harvey M3 Minimax Block Salt Softener is designed specifically for the plumbing requirements of the UK market. It is manufactured in England by Harvey Softeners.

Unlike a conventional softener, which is programmed to re-generate at night, the Harvey M3 Minimax Block Salt Softener re-generates on demand.
When one cylinder is exhausted after softening 400 litres of water, it re-generates whilst leaving the second cylinder to continue giving lovely soft water.

The Harvey M3 Minimax Block Salt Softener requires no electricity and is powered by water pressure.

It is probably the smallest water softener on the market. Its’ twin cylinder design makes it very narrow at just 212 mm (8.5 inches). It will comfortably sit under or next to the kitchen sink.
